Annual Generator Maintenance
In order for your generator to qualify for warranty and to keep it performing perfectly, it will need to undergo an annual maintenance. You can schedule each year or sign up for a 3 or 5 year maintenance program to receive a discount per visit. During an annual maintenance appointment Switch Electric will perform the following to meet the requirements set by the manufacturer:
- Oil and filter change
- Air filter change
- Spark plug replacement and gap to specifications
- Valve adjustment to specifications (when needed)
- General check of all electrical connections
- Fuel pressure check
- Battery check
- Check of proper operation of transfer switch and power outage simulation
- Light cleaning of the generator enclosure
