Basic Maintenance Plan
This plan is perfect for the customer wanting to meet the minimum requirements set by the manufacturer for their generator.
- Once a year Switch Electric will come and perform the following as needed for the generator,
- Oil and filter change (synthetic 5W-30 oil)
- Air Filter Change
- Spark Plug Replacement and gap to specifications
- Valve adjustment to specifications (when needed)
- This plan does not give any discounts towards the customer if any items are needing repaired to keep the generator in running operation other than specified above.
- Please choose our Basic Plus Generator Annual Maintenance Plan to receive discounts if any repair is needed, this is perfect for customer's with generators that are out of warranty. Along with the plus plan we will also check the following on our visit as part of the maintenance,
- General check of all generator electrical connections
- Battery Check
- Check of proper operation of transfer switch and power outage simulation
Plus Maintenance Plan
This plan is perfect for the customer wanting to meet the minimum requirements set by the manufacturer for their generator and wanting preferred pricing on repairs if any are needed through out the year. This is recommended for generators that are not covered by the manufacturer warranty any longer. This plan also features 3 extra areas that will be checked during the maintenance procedure.
- Once a year Switch Electric will come and perform the following as needed for the generator,
- Oil and filter change (synthetic 5W-30 oil)
- Air Filter Change
- Spark Plug Replacement and gap to specifications
- Valve adjustment to specifications (when needed)
- General check of all electrical connections
- Battery Check
- Check of proper operation of transfer switch and power outage simulation
- This plan give the following discounts,
- 5 percent discount towards any generator transfer switches or new generator purchases
- 5 percent discount towards any portable generator purchases
- 15 percent discount towards any repair work and parts needed for the generator.
- Please choose our Platinum Generator Annual Maintenance Plan to receive all of the above plus 2 free emergency calls a year, a $200 per trip for a total of $400 value.
Platinum Maintenance Plan
This is our top maintenance plan for generators and features the following:
- Complete Annual Maintenance
- 5 Percent Discount on any new generator, generator accessories, or transfer switch purchase
- 5 Percent Discount on any new portable generator purchase
- 15 Percent Discount on all repairs and parts
- 2 Free Emergency calls a year, a $200 per trip for a total of $400 value.
